Traffic light Reflection

For today's blog, I will be showing you my week expressed with a traffic light.

🔴  One thing I found tricky this week was in maths, when we did the "What triangle" I found this tricky because I didn't really know my angles.But because I watched the videos my Karen group found it much more Easier.

Yellow: One  learning area I found that I needed to improve on was in inexperience we were doing the re I experience we were doing research. But I got really confused with the research because I did not know what most of the words meant

One thing I did really #oresume was how I got confused with my literature circle job.But then I asked my mum for help and my connecter job was turned out really good

CCD Breakout time!

What

This Thursday,it was collaborative Community day!!!!I was doing breakout.Once I got there, I worked with two boys called Taj and Sibo.We were doing a digital breakout.Once time was up we had morning tea.when we got back to the multi space we did a breakout our starting clue was the direction lock.Sadly, we didn't get to finish it in time.

Then we had lunchtime.Once lunchtime was finished we went to LH6 and did another breakout with one of the teachers from OJC.We found our first clue behind a picture near the library lockers.

So what

I think this was challenging because each breakout was harder than the next one.I think this would have been better if I had worked together with the younger ones.I think this was interesting because I learnt a lot of things about natural disasters in NZ

Now What

I think that I want to do some more exploring about Breakouts and maybe even make one myself!

GEG!!!!!

This year, I was doing my Geg with Aditi. Every morning Miss Love and Miss Brambor. We were doing our Geg about quizzes. I think we did really well on how we worked together and gave each other rolls to do on our slide.

I think that we need to learn the words on the Que cards we made. 

I am very confident 😁because I know my slide. But on the other hand , I am really shy because I have NEVER been front of so many people.😩

My first week expressed with emojis!

In this blog post, I am going to do something a little new. Instead of doing a reflection I am going to show you my first week of term three with emojis!! I had a lot of fun writing this so I hope you have fun reading it.

 I chose the sleepy emoji because at the start of the week I didn't sleep early so I got really tired next morning.But once I got into class a boost of energy came to me so I didn't sleep in class!

😰The next day in literacy I was really worried because the 4CL was very confusing and II wouldn't be able to finish th exit ticket in time.But thankfully 😅  I was able to finish it on time!

😍On Wednesday day I was really happy. Because I was learning about Greece 🇬🇷 and had a lot of fun with my peers.

Fun with Science!

This Friday, We went to The science roadshow with LH6 and LH5 learners. Once we got to the multi-space,I saw so much Machinery and gadgets.I couldn't wait to explore all the cool stuff ! Once we sat down we had a workshop about Chemical reactions and experiments.

Then we got told that there was a competition! We had to find out the science behind at least two experiments then put it in a box.Then they would do a raffle and who name was said it would get a prize.I had got marked off 4 four experiments. When it was the end we did the raffle,sadly I didnt get it.

I am proud of the science roadshow because I learnt a alot and try lots of the stuff at the science roadshow.Now I think I want to learn more about the X-ray and the telescope because I thought that how X-ray works is really cool and I want to know how you can see so far with the telescope?

Math is Best!

                           Today in the morning, we were in our maths knowledge group

                                      

                                                                       We start!

We were learning about the tidy number stratagey. we first did some word equations then we figured out a question Numericaly.Visually Write a story and Solve it another way.With my Capabilities  I finished in the time limit.

Fun with decimals!

After that, we learnt how to subtract decimals.In my head, I was connecting with my prior knowledge.At the beginning, I thought this was going to be the hardest thing I've ever done. But at the end,to my surprise it was actually pretty easy!

What went well

I think the word problems went well because I had no problems and it was something I never worked out a maths equation with the tidy number strategy and I think the decimals went well too because I have never worked with decimals before.

Even better if 

It would be even better if I had been prepared earlier it would have been easier to do the to do equations visually 

My new favourite Author

Today at school,The year sixes were gone N Y L D (National Young Leaders Day) So Miss Love read us books from Paul Jennings.

There is three chapters in the Context Uncanny, Unbelievable and Unpredictable.We read one story from each chapter.I were very Curious about what would happen in the story, so I stayed quiet.

However it was really hard to stay quiet when there was a really funny part though.

I started to be Connected. When the teacher asked us which our favourite story out of the three she read.I told my shoulder buddy that my favourite story was the Bird Man. Some people's opinion  was the story Smelly Feat.

It would be better if I used my Capabilities to sit nicely so I could sit on the seats and be comfortable.
